SALES OF CITY PROPERTY
Section 6-11-1. Surplus Stock.
(a)
All directors of departments shall submit to the City Manager, at such times and in such form as the City Manager may prescribe, inventories including reports showing stocks of all supplies and equipment which are no longer used or which have become obsolete, worn out, or scrapped.
(b)
The City Manager shall have the authority to transfer surplus supplies and equipment from one department to another.
(c)
The City Manager may sell, by any method intended to optimize revenue, all supplies and equipment which have become unsuitable for public use or to exchange the same for or trade in the same on new supplies and equipment.
